Graduated from the Tsinghua University in 2002, James Su holds a master's degree of Physics. After graduation, James joined Turbolinux as an engineer responsible for product development. In 2004, he joined Novell and worked on SUSE Linux . Appointed by Google in 2007, he is responsible for Linux desktop application development. James actually started his carrer in the open source and Linux world during his university life by participating to projects like QT, GTK, Freetrype, Fontconfig, XFree86, etc. In 2004, he was appointed as one of the expert team members of China Linux Standard Workshop. In 2005, he joined the North-East Asia Open Source Forum and its promotion efforts. James is also the expert of the Input Method Team.

Hu Caiyong obtained Physics Master Degree from Peking University, and with the title of Senior Engineer.
His current position is Director and General Manager of Beijing Redflag Chinese 2000 Software Co. Ltd.; the main social duties are : Director of China Software Industry Association；Director of Beijng Software Industry Association；Director of Co-Create Software Alliance；Associate Chairman of OpenSystem Software Association；Director of Changfeng Alliance；Director of Beijing Youth Science Association.
He attended several Nine-Five and Ten-Five State Key Technologies R&D Program; gained Outstanding Contribution Prize in “Electric Vote Software System of 22th Universal Postal Union” in Oct, 1999; led the project – “Jingjintang Highway Charge and Communication System”in Oct, 2000, which reached the international advanced standard.
He is one of the main founders in planning and promoting Redflag Linux from 1999.

Zhou Qingguo, PhD, Associate Researcher, is the director for DSLab, SISE,Lanzhou University and the vice director for Linux Competence Center,Lanzhou University. He first installed Slackware on a 486 PC at1996, later he launched his first project based on Free Software: The Embedded Data Acquisition System for Mössbauer Spectroscopy Based on RTLinux, then he is active in RTLinux/GPL Community. Since 2004, he has come in organization the annual Real-Time Linux Workshop; In the meanwhile, he has given talks,seminars on Open Source Software at the campus and he is the founder for OSS Community,Lanzhou University (http://oss.lzu.edu.cn). At 2005, Prof.Nicholas McGuire, Prof.Li Lian and he built up DSLab( Distributed and Embedded System Lab),Lanzhou University. Current his research interest are : RTOS and Safety Computing.

Since 2002, Young Yu dedicated in Training and promoting Linux and open source technologies. redcap.info is focusing on Chinese Linux/open source engineers tech exchange by regular tech meetings.

Jia graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, a top-tier school in China, in 2004 with a bachelors and a masters degree in Computer Software and Theory, and then worked for IBM and Sohu.com where he was one of the key engineers. Jia is helping with all things technical, including Firefox 3 localization and the competitive landscape in China in Mozilla Online.

Jollen is the Special Operation at OpenMoko and leads the community development team. He was a Linux Software Engineer and has been a Linux Technical Consulting. He created JK2410, an embedded Linux Training board and founded Jollen’s Training Center. Currently, he is working on developing OpenMoko community.

Colin Charles is the Community Relations Manager at MySQL AB. He lives in Melbourne, Australia and has been with MySQL since 2005. Before joining MySQL, he worked actively on the Fedora and OpenOffice.org projects. He currently spends a lot of his time making community-based projects happy using the MySQL database.

Pan Haidong, Ph.D., co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hoodong (Beijing) Technologies Co., the largest Chinese Wiki website globally. Before that, Dr. Pan served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) with AsiaEC.com, the largest online e-procurement office supplies company in China. While studying in Boston University, Dr. Pan acted as co-president of Harvard China Review and organized its annual conference that attracted mainstream media in both US and China. Besides that, the MIT talent forum he organized as conference chair stirred the returning enthusiasm among overseas Chinese students and scholars. As excellent overseas student, Dr. Pan was interviewed by Xinhua News agency and People Daily. Mr. Pan obtained Ph.D. in systems engineering from Boston Univ., M.S. from Tsinghua Univ., and B.S. from Beijing Science & Technology Univ. He also joined the "Advanced History Studies Program" in Dept. of History, Peking Univ. Dr. Pan is a council member of All-China Youth Federation and committee member of Overseas Returnee Association ACYF.
